I found several old live recordings that are fun to watch now. Here's one with my trio at the Jolly Roger Inn, which at the time was a popular nightclub across from Disneyland. This was our version of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire."
I've been writing music most of my life. This has always been one of my favorites. Lionel Ritchie liked it too!
I had the good fortune to be in one of the top-rated country bands in California. "Western Union" was more than just 4 lead singers, every member of the band were talented instrumentalists too. The band had a couple of songs on the charts and we opened and backed up many touring country artists at the time. We were Johnny Lee's backup band for many years. Here's a recording that my dad took of us one Sunday afternoon at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. .
If you enjoy these old videos, there are many more on YouTube. I've created a Playlist to make them easy to find. Check them out!
